Matthew Sherf, a student at the Marblehead Community Charter Public School, and the MCCPS community did an amazing job raising funds for the LoveStrong Volleyball Scholarship. During the Fall they hosted a LoveStrong Soccer Tourney and raffle and raised $600 for the LoveStrong Volleyball Scholarship. Over the past 4 years the MCCPS has raised $6,077 for the scholarship. We are in awe, and full of gratitude for this amazing gift to honor Megan.

This year the LoveStrong Volleyball Scholarship committee awarded two scholarships. Congratulations to Lilah Thompson, an 8th grader at MCCPS, and Kalyn Markuns, a junior from Merrimac, MA. It was a challenge to narrow it down to just two fabulous applications, but we felt these two young women best represented the intent of the scholarship. We look forward to watching them progress in the sport!
